Plymouth, Mass.

BEST WEEK EVER!!!!!!

We arrive to Plymouth Plantation and get to spend the day there and explore it on our own. It's super cool and I was so happy to spend my first CI day there!!

My roommates were Nicole M. and Katie Walker! The house we live in is huge and I have a beautiful view from my bedroom window! Love waking up to that every morning!

I had such a great CI day and the crew I was with was amazing. Made the day so much fun!:) We did some garden stuff and worked our asses off!! loved it..

My second CI was even better - not because of the crew or the place but because my family came and surprised me:) I was about to fall over!! It took me a while to understand that it was them walking from the parking lot but when I did I just started crying and ran straight into my moms arms! It was the best feeling ever.. Emily, Victoria and Jimmi was also there and it was so so so so so so so great to see them again and to feel there hugs<3 MISSED THEM SO MUCH!!!! The staff had known for a really long time that they were coming but Nicole and I had no idea so it was such an amazing feeling to see them again and I can't believe that the staff was able to shut up about it!! :D Nicole and I was the happiest girls alive!!

We went back to the cast and had culture fair - It was so much fun and I loved having the family here so they could meet the cast and help us with setting up and representing Denmark!!

Culture fair was so much fun and everyone did such an amazing job representing there own countries. Victoria LOVED it, because every country had something to eat so she ran from booth to booth eating:D!!!

At our booth DENMARK we talked about "the facts", our royal family and some of our traditions in Denmark. In the end with every team we went outside and played "øl staffet":) it was so much fun and when ever you lost you had to eat danish liquorice!! It was so much fun to see their different face expressions eating it!! It was priceless :D

After culture fair us 6 went for dinner and let me just tell you how much I loved that evening! Just sitting around the table and talking and laughing and just being our little happy family back together again was amazing! Never been so happy before<3 I still had a hard time understanding that they were there:) They dropped me of at my host families house and they met my host sister and host dad so that was pretty cool!

The next day Nicole and I had time off with the family until one so we went to Target and bought stuff that Nicole and I needed before traveling to Asia:) SO nice to spend time with the family as if it was like we were home!! I had so much fun and what I loved most about hanging out with them was waking hand in hand or arm in arm with my mom and Emily and just talk about stuff back home and our experiences in UWP!! I have missed that so much - especially my moms hugs!! They are the best. Emily has grown into such a young and beautiful girl and I could not be more proud of the you lady she is today! Victoria's grown so much and has gotten so tall - HATE that she grows up so fast. But it was sure nice to have her arms around my neck again<3 Jimmi was just the same as we left him and that made me so happy. I did not think that I would miss his jokes but I sure have! It was just great to be a family again!!!

After a nice morning we went back to the cast and started rehearsal for the show that night! I was so pumped for the show and so happy that they would see the show and the dances that Nicole and I are in!:) Its my job to bring a man on stage in the 2nd act so I brought Jimmi and he brought Victoria - it was so much fun and I loved that Jimmi could experience that with me!! The family loved the show and that made me so happy!! That night Emily stayed the night and it was so nice to have her with me and just enjoy our alone time together! Missed that girl so much<3..

The next day we had breakfast together at their hotel and it was so good:) love sitting around a table and eat with them. Back home the dinner table would be our gather around and talk about your day table and boy have I missed that! It was a nice memory of home and how loving my family is!!! We went for a nice walk together and went for lunch after that. We new that we were going to say goodbye  to each other after lunch and the time just flew by so that was no fun! I cried as always but it was easier to say goodbye because I'm home in 2 months and 3 weeks!! I'll be home before they know it:) It was still hard to say goodbye..

After saying goodbye to them we went into rehearsal! Unfortunately I got really sick that afternoon so I could not participate in the show. Instead Katie B and I were backstage feeling sorry for our selves!! 

This also meant that I took a sick day saturday - I did not feel well at all so I thought a day of sleeping and relaxing would be a smart thing to do. I did some laundry, skyped with family and friends and just slept:) It was a good day and just what my body and mind needed. 

For host family day Nicole M and Katie Walker and I went shopping for the last thing we needed! It was so much fun just to spend time with those two goof balls:)!! I packed and went to bed way to late! I'm not ready at all but TAIWAN here we come!!!

Concord, Mass

We came to Concord and I was so excited because Diane was PR in that city! It was so good to see again and I'm so glad that we get this experience together.. It's because of her, Emmy, KayKay and Anja that Nicole and I are here today in UWP!!!:)

I was hosted with Tori from LA, USA and we had a great time with our super nice host family! They lived in the middle of the forrest, so there was tree all around us and animals:) loved it! They did everything for us and really wanted us to have the best time with them!! Steven our host dad made breakfast for us every morning and he absolutely loved it and so did we:)!! so nice to have eggs, pancakes and bagels..

This CI I went to Walden Park were we worked on the trails, which was a lot of fun and so beautiful!! Enjoyed the view when we had our lunch break!!

This week we had 4 shows and that tired a lot of us!!:) At our last show we had to strike in a hour and we had never done that before - but because of our awesomeness we made it!! it took hard work, team work but also having fun with it!! :) Woop Cast B 2012..

Next week we will be going to Plymouth and that is our last city in USA!! Next stop is Taiwan:)

Cant believe time has flied by so fast! Its insane..

Hamilton, Mass

We arrived to Hamilton were we were welcomed by General Patton's wife! She was so sweet and made us very excited about our week in Hamilton!

My roommate in Hamilton was Bailey and I was so happy to spend the week with her! And then we meet our host family and we could not ask for a better family! Jenny, Bill, Kayla, Sophie and Will are such an amazing loving family and they reminded me so much of my family back home. In the morning they all we rushing out of the door and the girls were talking about what to wear and it just reminded me so much of our mornings back home when all of us had to leave for school or work in the mornings.

That week we were interacting with a lot of students in Elementary School, Middle school, High school and College! It was super fun but also hard work - who would have guessed that kids would be hard:) My favorite was Elementary school, they were the cutest children and they loved spending time with us and playing our different games:)!!
We had 3 BTS on one day at Wenham regional Middle School and High school and it was so much fun but also so hard and so hot (there were no AC).

I loved getting early off so I had more time with my awesome roommate and host family! We would have so much fun and laugh so hard together especially us girls:)!! Kayla was the oldest and Sophie was a year younger and it was so fun to see how different they were - Sophie was the one who never thought before she talked (which I loved) and Kayla was more mature but also a lot of fun!!

On show night I took my host dad Bill up on stage with me and it was super fun and the crowd went wild (everyone knew Bill):) so it was just a lot of fun!!

On host family day we went for breakfast with Baileys mom and her two friends and The Frains!:) It was so much fun and I loved spending time with all of them!. After that we went to see Sophie cheer and that was so much fun and I loved being there and support her and her team! Bailey taught Will about some of the different games we have in the cast and he just started playing them right away! He rocked it and Bailey and I were happy about that we learned him the games the day before we left!:) When we came home we went to the hot tub outside and had girl time.. We had Italian for dinner and afterwards we saw "It's complicated" and we all laughed so hard! It was such a nice moment with all of us snuggled together on the couch, under blankets just enjoying each others company as a family! I absolutely love this family and hated to say goodbye to them!! HATE IT!!

Newburyport, Mass.

This week I'm hosted with Bettina from Norway and Caroline from Colorado, USA. We live with this sweet lady Sally in her cute house right down to the river!! Its beautiful and very "sommerhus agtigt":)

We live next door to Come and Tono and their host family! So when Bettina turned 19 Tono, Come and their host family came singing from their house happy birthday while Tono was playing guitar! It was super nice and Sally had bought cake for her - and it was a super good cake, it reminded me of "lagkage" :)

This week we made our personal flags which represented something we cherish in our lives! And in the end we put all the flags together and made one big cast B 2012 flag!! 

This week I went to Opportunity Works for my CI. Its a organization that has students (grown ups) that has disabilities and they go there to work, learn how to do the best they can do in life. Our job was to dance with them for 2 hours straight - and yes that was quite scary in the beginning but when we saw how happy they got when we started the music and warming up it was all worth it and I had a amazing day with them all.. The end of the day the lady who worked there told us that they would change the students schedule so they could have more dance and arts in there program because they could see how happy it made them!! So I would say that we made a different in there lives!

Our show venue was so hot and it had no AC so we were all dying on stage!! It was horrible, but we survived :) 

On our 1st host family day we took the speed boat and went to the beach for a couple of hours and later we had lobster dinner with lots of other delicious food!!:) great day with lots of laugh and delicious food!!

On our 2nd host family day we went to go whale watching! The only problem was that we didn't see any whales :( waste of money and time but we had fun together!!! Sally picked us up afterwards and then we went to Connor, Will, Gabo, Max and Oscars host family to have a huge turkey dinner and had a Rugby match afterwards!! :D that was super fun even though we could not see any thing because it was so dark.. But it was super fun and the dinner was so good!!:) I absolutely loved Sally and she did everything for us girls and when we left she gave us a charm that said "HOPE"! I'm going to miss her so much, but I'm ready for Hamilton and can't wait to see who my new host family and roommate!!:)
